Kevin is an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) certified level II pickleball instructor who grew up in Irvine and comes from a high-level tennis background. He was formerly ranked top 10 in Southern California and top 50 in the nation as a tennis player. Kevin played tennis for University High School and Irvine Valley College and then focused on teaching tennis to students of all ages for the past 7 years. In October of 2020, Kevin discovered pickleball and immediately fell in love with the game. Since then, he has dedicated himself to pickleball and has achieved great success in the sport. Kevin has competed in several round robins, pickleball leagues, and tournaments where he has amassed an impressive collection of medals.

Most notably, he won a silver medal in his very first singles tournament at the highly competitive Pro Pickleball Association (PPA) Orange County Cup in San Clemente in Men’s 5.0. Since then, he has won gold medals at the Newport Beach Invitational (Men’s Doubles 4.5), PPA Las Vegas (Men’s Doubles 4.5), and PPA San Clemente (Men’s Doubles 4.5). Kevin currently plays Pro Singles, and 5.0 in doubles on the PPA and APP Tours.

Kevin hopes to share his passion for pickleball to his students and the community through his coaching. He fosters an inviting and lively environment for his students because he strongly believes that students that have fun on the court play better on the court. Pickleball is greatly enjoyed by all players because it is a competitive and social game that uniquely brings people together of all ages and backgrounds to form a tight-knit, supportive community. Kevin encourages and welcomes players of all ages and all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) to pick up a paddle and join him for private, group lessons, and ladders at the Huntington Beach Pickleball Club.
