TERMS & CONDITIONS

For good consideration, the undersigned jointly and severally hereby forever release Huntington Beach Pickleball and its contracted coaches from any and all claims, actions, suits, demands, agreements that arise from instruction.

Photo & Video Waiver
I, hereby give permission for images of myself, captured at Huntington Beach Pickleball through video, photo, and digital camera, to be used solely for the purposes of Huntington Beach Pickleball promotional material and publications, and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
Huntington Beach Pickle does not allow any makeup, refund or credit for any missed training/lesson day where you decide not to participate for any reason other than in Huntington Beach Pickleball responsibility or weather cancellation. All sales/bookings are final, non-transferable/non-refundable.


Pickleball Attire
-Appropriate Pickleball attire is required.

Only regulation (non-marking) tennis shoes are allowed.

Court Reservations
-Reservations may be scheduled on www.huntingtonbeachpickleball.com
-All players’ first and last names and guests must be included when making reservations. Reserved courts are held for 10 minutes, and then court may be reassigned.

Membership Responsibilities
-Members are responsible for the behavior of and property damage caused by themselves, and their Transferees, guests, and children.
-Members must accompany their guests.
-Huntington Beach Pickleball is not responsible for accidents or injuries occurring within the Tennis/Pickleball Facility.
-Huntington Beach Pickleball is
 not responsible for loss and/or damage to personal property.

Children
-An adult Member must accompany children under the age of 18 years old unless they are a full –time resident of the community. Sixteen (16) and seventeen (17) year old residents who hold a member’s card, may use the facility without supervision.
-Parents or other supervisory adults will be responsible for their children’s behavior at all times on the courts and will be responsible for any damages incurred.

Facility Etiquette
-No smoking, vaping, or drugs are allowed.

-Dogs are not allowed on the courts.

-Do not enter your court until the assigned time if the court is occupied. Promptly leave your court at the conclusion of your assigned time if people are waiting.

Court Conditions
-Pickleball operations may be suspended by Huntington Beach Pickleball Staff due to inclement weather.

-If courts get wet, stop play immediately.

Coaches/Professionals
Only Huntington Beach Pickleball Coaches/Professionals are permitted to organize, promote events and provide lessons.

Membership

Summarized below are key policies, rules and expectations of Huntington Beach Pickleball ("HBP"). These apply to all members/guests. Under your Membership Agreement, you are responsible for complying with all HBP policies, including without limitation those outlined in this document, and HBP reserves the right to cancel, revoke or suspend your membership for any violation of the HBP Policies.

 

Check-In: You are required to check in at the front desk upon entry.

 

Good Standing: HBP reserves the right to prohibit you from accessing and entering the facility if there are any outstanding past-due/overdue amounts payable to HBP or your membership is otherwise not in good standing.

 

Member/guest Conduct: You are expected to act in a respectful and socially acceptable manner while using the facility and to be mindful of other individuals’ physical and personal space. You may not engage in behavior or conduct that HBP, in its discretion, considers unruly or inappropriate, including without limitation harassing, badgering, antagonizing, taunting, threatening, abusing, touching, or otherwise acting in an aggressive, unsportsmanlike, indecent or inappropriate manner towards any other member, guest, employee or other individual. HBP reserves the right to remove you from the facility and/or revoke, cancel, suspend or otherwise limit your membership, and/or notify law enforcement authorities if you engage in any conduct or behavior that HBP, in its discretion, considers inappropriate, indecent, unsafe, unlawful or otherwise in violation of HBP Policies.

 

Personal Property: You should avoid bringing valuables onto facility premises. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HBP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OR THEFT OF, OR DAMAGE TO, ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY OF YOU OR YOUR GUESTS.

 

Dress Code: You are required to wear appropriate athletic attire and footwear.

 

No Outside Coaches: Use of personal coaches who are not employed by HBP is strictly prohibited. You may not provide coaching services to, or receive coaching services from, any other member or guest, regardless of whether a fee is charged.

 

Weapons: Firearms and other weapons are strictly prohibited from being brought into facility, even if you have a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

 

Membership Agreement/Cancellation Policy: We offer month-to-month agreements requiring a 30-day prior to billing date cancellation notice request  emailed to info@huntingtonbeachpickleball.com and/or at front desk. No refunds. No membership freeze.
